It's a hot and humid Saturday afternoon at the Mombasa Sports Club,venue of the Driftwood Sevens, the final round of the Western Union National Sevens Circuit. We are well into the second round of preliminary matches. No upsets have been registered thus far but Kenya College of Accountancy came close, taking a 5-0 lead before going down to Nondies 12-5 in a Pool D encounter. Kenya Commercial Bank RFC have registered the highest score so far, a 42-0 result over USIU in Pool while circuit trendsetters Mwamba and Quins overcame slow starts, beating Homeboyz and Mombasa 12-0 and 15-0 respectively while Strathmore, Impala and Nakuru registered routine victories over their opponents:
