KCB Trio Named for Elgon cup

20 great years..1989-2009
Peter Mutai made his ferocious comeback to the National XV's team after producing a scintillating dispay in recent games. The other two KCB team members on the squad is the effervescent Andrew Amonde (ripe from a hat-trick try performance on Saturday) and to complete the tripod is KCB captain Alubaka Edwin. Notably absent is Antony Ogot who has never missed a game scince Michal "Tank" Otieno took charge of the squad. This will probably raise a cause of disquiet from the Den's fanatic who have been accustomed to Ogot being in the squad.

The team departs for Kampala on the Wednesday,26th for the return leg of the Elgon cup which will be played in the Kyadondo Stadium in Kampala. Kenya hold a narrow 8 point lead but the team leaving for Kampala is full of confidence and are in high spirits.
