KCB drawn in Pool A of Chairman's Cup

KCB have been drawn in Pool A of the KRFU Chairman's Cup which kicks off at 11.00am ( really crazy time) on Saturday 8th March 2008 at various venues. KCB play Panthers at the Lions Den Ruaraka.

Pool A: Kenya Commercial Bank, Nondies, Mwamba and Punthers.

Pool B: Kenya Harlequin FC, Impala, Thika Institute of Technology and Mean Machine.

 

Fixtures

March 8: KCB v Punthers, Nondies v Mwamba, Quins v Mean Machine, Impala v Thika Institute; March 15: Punthers v Nondies, Mwamba v KCB, Mean Machine v Impala, Thika Institute v Quins; March 21: Nondies v KCB, Mwamba v Punthers, Impala v Quins, Thika Institute v Mean Machine; March 29: Main Cup semis A1 v B2, B1 v A2; April 5: Main Cup final, Plate final, Bowl final A3 v B3, Shield final A4 v B4.

The top two teams will proceed to the semi-final. This is a competition for players who have not been selected for the Franchise teams. Frank Sabwa, the Kenya Rugby Football Union secretary explained that it is a way of ensuring the players are not neglected during the Bamburi Rugby Super Series.
