Wazee Versus Vijana

The wazee lived up to the tradition by sweeping aside the determined vijana 38-24 in a thrilling match last Saturday at the Lions den. It was a good end to a largely disappointing season and the spirit with which the game was played underscored the commitment of the players and the unity in the squad as we seek to bounce back next year.

To those who could not make it for on reason or the other KCB RFC still needs you!

Bigup to;
Azu Ogolla, Innocent Moturi and John Ojara who represented the original KCB RFC team and still showed the vijana that when all else fails, brute force and intimidation can carry the day.

To Wangila "Big Hits" Simiyu who suspended his drinking binge just enough to show the vijana that "Hii game ni boka sio soka."

To Arthur Shikwe who aptly demonstrated how a ruck should be properly hit.

To Paul Murunga who demonstrated that your big bro is your big bro.

To Majale who had a decent game at fly half. We still await when you will buy someone a drink.

To Lincoln who played a whole two quarters.

To the ref Muinde who reffed according to the strict principles of the Wazee code.

To Dedan Omondi for showing Inno a clean pair of heels.

All in all it was a great afternoon and surely to get the full benefit of such an occassion we need more active participation next year. Kindly clear your diary for same time next year and help us celebrate 20 years of Lion hearted rugby.
