The KCB Lions qualified for the semis of the 2008 KRFU Chairman's Cup with a 27-3 win over Nondescripts RUFC at the Nairobi School on Friday 21 March 2008.
The Lions capped the Easter weekend by scooping the Plate title at the Kenya Harlequin Easter Blackrock Tens held at the RFUEA on Sunday 23 March 2008. The young squad beat Nondies 7-0 in the final. David Omusolo scored the winning try that was converted by Haroun Lubisia.
