KCB beat Panthers as Lions maul Twigas in Super Series opener

CHAIRMANS CUP
2006 Chairman's Cup winner KCB RFC got their campaign off to a winning start with a massive 44-0 win over newcomers Panthers in a match played at The Lions Den Ruaraka on Saturday morning.KCB overcame a slow start and dogged resistance to eventually prevail over the Panthers.

BAMBURI RUGBY SUPER SERIES
Leading 31-0 at half time, the Lions, heavily made up of KCB players cruised to a  65-0 away win in the opening round of the Bamburi Rugby Super Series in Arusha, Tanzania.


Champions Rhinos got their title defence off to a good start,leading 27-0 at the break before coming off with a comprehensive  37-8 win over the Buffaloes at the Rugby Football Union of East Africa ground on Saturday.
