Focus shifts to knock out tournaments

With the dust having settled on the Kenya Cup and Eric Shirley Shield leagues,focus now shifts to the knock out Enterprise and Mwamba Cups for first and second division teams respectively.

The KCB Lions will begin their campaign to reclaim the Enterprise Cup they last won in 2004 when they face great rivals Impala RFC in what should be an enthralling quarter final clash at the Impala Club on Saturday from 4.30pm.

KCB Cubs,who fell to Strathmore at the semi final stage of the Eric Shirley Shield,begin their defence of the Mwamba Cup with a clash against Kisumu RFC at the Lions' Den on the same day from 3.00pm.The Cubs will be going for an unprecedented fourth straight title,having won it in 2004,2005 and 2006.
