KCB's second XV,The Cubs,have qualified for a fifth successive Mwamba Cup final with a 27 -3 win over Daystar University at the Lions' Den.
The Cubs led 17-3 at half time off tries from Ronnie Mwenesi,Frank Nabutola and Oscar Mango.Harun Lubisia could only manage one conversion.Daystar's consolation points came from a Ronald Ng'anga penalty.Cubs captain,John "Biggie" Macharia was sin binned towards the end of this half.
Second half substitute,"The Great" Moses Ndale,scored a pushover try while Sidney Mwai added yet another try.Ian Ndwiga and Harun Lubisia's conversion attempts were wide.
The Cubs will meet the winner of the Strathmore/Blak Blad semi final on September 1st 2007 at the RFUEA.A win for them in Saturday's final would mean a fourth successive Mwamba Cup title,having first won it in 2004 with successful defences in 2005 and 2006.
