Lions reclaim lead in Kenya Cup standings

Barely 24 hours after leading Kenya to a 23-16 win over Morocco in the CAR cup at the RFUEA grounds on Saturday 23rd June,newly appointed Kenya coach and KCB head coach Michael "Tank" Otieno led the KCB Lions in defeating Mombasa Sports Club 25-6 in a rescheduled Kenya Cup clash played at the Lions' Den on Sunday 24th June 2007.

Arnold Odera scored the first try for the bankers in the 20th minute with John Meso Ahenda adding the second five minutes later. At half time, KCB led 10-0. In the second half, Paul Murunga touched down in the 65th minute and Anthony Ogot went over in the 75th minute to bag a bonus point. Edwin Kiprono,younger brother to KCB and Kenya's first choice scrum half Peter Mutai,kicked over one penalty and conversion. Rogers Lai put over two penalties for Mombasa Sports Club.
