Bamburi Super Series kicks off

Western Buffaloes upset defending champions Cheetahs as the Bamburi Rugby Super Series opened at Rugby Football Union of East Africa grounds.The Buffaloes, largely composed of Nakuru RFC players, displayed awesome rugby skills and squeezed in a slim 15- 14 win before an enthusiastic crowd.

Scrum half Peter Mutai kicked over a penalty for Lions at the death to secure a dramatic 28-27 victory against Rhinos in an absorbing second match.
