Focus shifts to Kenya Cup

Having bagged the Impala Floodlit Championships for a second time following a 14-13 win over Mwamba RFC,KCB RFC now shifts its focus towards the first division Kenya Cup league which kicks off at various venues countrywide.

The Lions,who are the 2005 and 2006 champions,start their title defense with an away fixture against newly promoted Mombasa Sports Club in Mombasa on Saturday 3rd March 2007.

Coach Michael Otieno is expected to name the traveling party after a training session at the Lions' Den in Ruaraka on Thursday evening.

KCB II,who take part in the second division Eric Shirley Shield league have no fixtures this weekend.
